And we were meant to be together
We entered each other’s lives
And we’ve seen happiness arrive
There have been squabbles and skirmishes
A few hits and a few misses
But we never went to bed with a heartburn
We would simply learn and take a new turn
When I look back, I’m just amazed
You’ve upgraded me in many ways
You’ve helped me in my internal journey
With roadblocks that were thorny
I’m blessed to be your partner
As you turned my beautiful gardner
I hope to have completed you in some way
Which, I know is not a child’s play
O! creator of innovative cuisine,
I may not be a King
but you are indeed my Queen
